Microgravity

A condition in orbit where people, objects, and experiments are in continuous free fall and appear nearly weightless. Gravity still exists, but many gravity-driven effects are greatly reduced.

A large biological molecule that performs important jobs in living systems. Many medicines are proteins, and proteins can also be targets for medicines.

Crystal

An ordered arrangement of molecules. Researchers may grow protein crystals to study molecular structure or formulation behavior.
